The Sebel Palm Cove

Completed at the height of the ‘Pineapple Craze’, the term helped inspire the concept for this refurbishment, and add a sense of fun, with the incorporation of quirky tropical, pineapple printed fabrics, pineapple lamps & pineapple ornaments into the interior schemes. The sense of fun was further enhanced by coconut feature wall panelling, pendant lights resembling indigenous fishing nets, and splashes of apple green and deep-sea blues, natural fibres, hand carved tables and leather accents. Flat plasterboard walls in the living rooms were softened with the introducing VJ panelling, reminiscent of a traditional Queenslander architecture, and further textural elements incorporated into the FF&E selections.

The resort now reflects its location in Far North Queensland, and an atmosphere of relaxed comfort pervades.
