The client is a concierge service for guests staying in local short-stay apartments. Our expertise with the design of hotel foyers, and understanding the guest experience, meant that we were a natural fit to assist them with the interior fit-out of their new premises in North Melbourne.
Inspired by Art Deco hotels and mid-century offices fit outs, this interior utilises walnut panelling, slatted timber and gently curving forms to define individual zones within an open plan space. The 20th Century influences for this space are further reiterated with the inclusion of brass Lee Broom light fittings, colour-graduting carpet and metallic wallpaper.

Our clients contacted us with a view to utilising our knowledge of hotel foyers and the guest check in experience, to assist them with the interior fit-out of their new premises on Flemington Road.
Inspired by Art Deco hotels, we combined walnut panelling and brass trim with glamorous Lee Broom feature pendant lighting and space-defining Phillip Jefferies wallpaper, complementing an impressive brass trimmed reception counter.
